Madam Hutt eventually came to her senses, and she recalled what Katte Martin had told her.
Tina must have noticed something, hence her indifference towards Lucas. It was all caused by Lucas himself, who else could he blame?
"I'll wait for him to wake up, then I'll go back." Madam Hutt looked at Lucas, who was still asleep.
At this point, she was at a loss for ideas. Her son's marriage was in trouble because he had cheated. How could she ask Tina Hernandez to put up with it and continue living a wronged life?
As a woman herself, she couldn't bring herself to say such a thing.
Seeing Madam Hutt calm and silent, unlike her usual self, Tina thought she was worrying about Lucas. So she reassured her: "Now that his fever has gone down, he'll recover quickly. Don't worry too much, Mom."
Madam Hutt just smiled without saying anything.
Tina didn't know what else to say and suddenly became quiet too.
