Edward Anderson sat in his seat for a while before he realized that Bella Scott had come to see him tonight, talked to him about her feelings, and even watched a movie with him. Did this mean she no longer rejected him?
On his way home, he did not dare to drive fast, as his mind was full of thoughts of Bella Scott.
On one hand, he told himself that Bella's attitude tonight meant she was giving him a chance. On the other hand, he feared that he was overthinking it, and all of this was nothing more than a coincidence, so there was no need to think too much.
If he misunderstood Bella's intentions and pursued her actively, would he be locked out by her again?
As soon as Edward returned, Brynn Williams noticed his unusual behavior.
"Could he be falling in love?"
Edward's distracted state was a symptom of love, wasn't it?
Finally, Edward snapped out of his thoughts. He awkwardly said, "That's not the case."
