Situated 200 kilometres from the Guna Caves was a forest, not bearing anything special to it other than a multitude of Iron Grade Pranic Beast Races living amongst it.
This region hadn't created any waves, native to creates considered prey even for Iron Grade Pranic Beasts. They had great fertility, and the region was capable of sustaining a large enough population.
In essence, they were prey for the natives of the Guna Caves, especially the Shifting Ants. Forming large raid groups, the Shifting Ants would storm out of the Guna Caves, invade this region, capture as many natives as required, and return to their home.
Once the population in the region recovers to normal, the Shifting Ants would invade once again.
Currently, one Shifting Ant raid group was filing toward the forest when suddenly, their mandibles clattered. Their eyes, adapted to the darkness of the Guna Caves, burst from overexposure as a powerful hemispherical explosion of light swooned over them.
