On a mission to wipe out a terrorist cell Drake is walking through a forest pistol in hand before all he hears is 3 gun shots and a pain flaring from his side before he passes out. Feeling the cold breeze Drake wakes up and groggily open his eyes expecting to be back in his bed but all he sees is the ceiling of a cave above him slowly getting up and looking around his surroundings and he sees he's in a cave with bones littering the floor and blood splatters on the walls and an opening in front of him trying to stand up his knees buckled and he fell down landing flat on his face groaning with pain "Fuck that hurt" Slowly Drake crawls to the cave wall standing with visible effort. Pain flares from his gums he tries to remember how he got here he remembers getting shot and Falling he lifts his shirt looking at his side the place he remembers getting shot there are 3 bullet hole shaped scars. With a grimace he says "That's not a good sign about time i get out of wherever here is"
Slowly and shakily Drake starts holding the wall and walking towards the opening and stumbling out of it into a thunder storm covering the night sky where the rain starts pouring down onto his head as he stumbles out of the cave before almost falling off a cliff catching himself on a tree looking off the cliff edge he can see a city in the distance but first he had to find a way off the cliff without splattering the ground and dying. "O-okay this is not how i expected my day to go"
Drake starts climbing by finding secure footholds and slowly climbing lower knowing one slip up could mean death since he has no equipment. As he reaches the he slips on the rain soaked rocks and falls slicing open his forearm on a sharp rock hitting the ground with a thud letting out a scream that echos around him. Gripping his arm Drake feels his blood draining at a very fast rate but then he slowly feels the cut sealing leaving his arm covered in his own blood with wide eyes staring at his arm Drake mutters "I think im losing it" Drake than began standing up and checking his location before heading off in the direction of the city.
Drake finally reaches the edge of the city 30 minutes later looking at the back of a building and realizing he just traveled a few miles in less than an hour without breaking a sweat he was always in peak condition due to his training and exercise routine but even he couldn't do this before today. Recovering from his bafflement he walks around the side of the building and sees it's an convenience store before entering and sees the cashier an slightly chunky looking high schooler with red hair, freckles, and acne
When Drake walked into the convenience store the cashier looks at him strangely like he's looking at a unknown species Drake then made a beeline for the bathroom and looking to the mirror is normally it's slightly pale skin has gone to a pure white tone the tattoo he got when he was 19 a wolf sleeve along his left arm his normally black eyes are a crimson hue with cat-like pupils (like witcher eyes) and his hair is now pitch black like the midnight sky compared to its normal brownish-black color he's got a completely new look although his eyes do stand out compared to most people
Leaving the bathroom Drake sees a pair of sunglasses that would hide his eyes for the meantime while he tries to see what understand what is happening to him. But then he realizes he's completely poor for the time being until he finds a source of money so he just decides it wouldn't be worth the risk to try and steal a pair so before he leaves he says to the cashier "hey what city are we in i just got here" the cashier looks at Drake like he's a moron and says with a condescending tone "we're in San Francisco".
