To which Gu's mother responded truthfully, "Yebai doesn't even have his own place to live, we're all staying at his brother's house now."
"Why?" Qiu Sangu seemed surprised, and then she came up with an explanation for Gu's mother, "Is it because he and Nuannuan were driven out by the Xiao Family and had nowhere to go? The Xiao Family has gone too far; isn't Nuannuan pregnant? How can they treat a pregnant woman like that? Aren't they afraid that the child will grow up not recognizing them?"
