Just like his day had been starting over the last three days, Damian took the life of one more Hobgoblin. After doing it so many times, it was almost the same as breathing for him.
During the second day, Damian couldn't help lamenting the Fate Limit. If he could accumulate without any restrictions when met with these numbers, reaching Level 10 would have been a piece of cake!
At that point, with an Agility that's not too different from the Goblin King's, the rest of the army could be taken down without the need to overwork. He could even take it easy and go back to doing relaxing exploration.
Perhaps, the other functions of Fate Points might be unlocked at that point, giving him the chance to make life even easier.

Soon enough, such thoughts no longer occupied Damian's mind. These thoughts were merely means of escapism, and escapism was what got him here in the first place.
