The Deep Gorge Continent was a rather small one, located in a small World with only one World Stone leading in and out.
There were also only a few small Mortal Countries, all located at the furthest edges of the continent, with all of the central parts closer to the gorge either left untouched, or occupied by clans and families of cultivators.
It was the rare case of many various factions all sharing the same Spiritual Land, as it was too vast for one faction to control all of it, spanning nearly the entire continent, since the gorge was only its center.
Thus the news of a treasure ship bearing the mark of the Wei Dynasty's Imperial Family arriving through the sole entry to the continent in the largest city of cultivators, the Shallow Gorge City, spread far and wide almost immediately.
It was a city located at one of the ends of the gorge, since that was where the World Stone was, where there was a small part of the gorge which was shallow.
