A figure suddenly appeared beside him, he glanced at Ken Middleton's neck and was momentarily stunned.
"You failed?"
Ken was silent for a moment before recounting what had just happened.
"I think we should give up."
Ken sighed and said.
"We can't just give it up. We were born from Bastian, and have survived in this Holy Kingdom for nearly five millennia. Now, we have gained vast Destiny Energy, but our Lifespan is nearing its end. If we can't reach an agreement with the current Holy Lord, we'll perish within this millennium."
The red-nosed man sighed.
"Besides, I'm also feeling quite exhausted. I've been so cowardly for so many years, it's time to fight for something that's ours. If that person hasn't made a move, it means Ethan Smith's relationship with him isn't as close as you think."
