"Master, I'm back!"
Ethan Smith felt his eyes welling up, and shouted loudly.
The sound echoed into the distance, as two figures approached them along a small path in the back mountain.
"Ethan, it really is you! I just told my dad that I heard your voice, and he didn't believe me!"
Alfred Freeman laughed heartily and hugged Ethan tightly.
Randall Freeman smiled as he watched them, with a somewhat sentimental expression.
It had been two hundred years since the departure from Central Province. Originally, he thought he'd never see Ethan again, yet now he's miraculously appearing at Nexinton Mountain.
"Are you looking for trouble, kid? You didn't hear your aunt calling you?"
Salena Carpenter kicked Alfred hard, causing sweat to bead on his forehead from the pain.
Salena grabbed Randall's beard: "Old man, did you secretly drink my wine?"
Randall's expression froze, and he hurried to justify himself, solemnly saying no.
