Jensen Coleman hurried after him, and they both exited the Great Hall, heading toward an isolated area.
"Talk. Why did you spare him?" Jensen Coleman demanded icily.
Star fixed Jensen Coleman with a frigid stare. "Do you have any idea who that boy is?"
"Mason Raymond? Ha, what a convenient excuse," Jensen Coleman scoffed.
"We've all looked into his past - raised as an orphan, married into a family as a live-in son-in-law, no impressive connections, just some luck and talent," Jensen Coleman continued.
"Besides, his power means nothing to someone like you."
Star drew a sharp breath and roared, "He's the Guardian's son! If I'd killed him, do you think the Guardian would spare us!"
This explosion stunned Jensen Coleman. The air grew thick with tension.
