"Forget it, I don't want that so-called spot anymore," I said coldly.
But Saumel Baton wasn't ready to give up.
He grabbed my arm and said, "Mr. Raymond, I swear to you, The Baton Family won't hurt Miss Sean. We just need to borrow some of her blood."
"I said no," I shook off Saumel's grip and turned to walk away.
Right then, Saumel's face went completely dark.
"Mason Raymond, I've always shown you respect, but it seems you have zero regard for The Baton Family," Saumel said icily.
I looked at Saumel and said, "I won't let anyone hurt Mabel Sean."
At that moment, Saumel dropped his fake polite act.
He stared at me and said, "Mason Raymond, let me tell you something - you can't protect Mabel Sean! Not only will our family be watching her, but countless families like ours will want her!"
