"Deploy the Martial Saint Implement!"
The black and gold robed men traded nervous looks when they heard this command.
Everyone knew the Capital City Martial Arts Association hadn't touched the Martial Saint Implement in years.
They hadn't even brought out the Saint Weapon during the whole mess with Mason Raymond!
"Do we really need to go that far? We've got everything ready—no point dragging out the Martial Saint Weapon," one of them said with a chill in his voice.
"The bunch of us can handle that black-robed guy easy. Real question is if he'll even bother showing up."
"The Martial Saint Weapon... that's serious business."
But Phoebe Billy shot back coldly, "You guys have no clue how dangerous that black-robed man actually is!"
"How dangerous can he be? You saying he can take on all eight of us?" someone scoffed.
"Vice President Billy, you're not telling us this black-robed guy is as big a threat as Mason Raymond, are you?"
