My face turned dark and ugly. Even though I wasn't certain what had occurred, I realized I probably couldn't match Mason Raymond's current strength.
"With all those resources from the Capital City Martial Arts Association, you're still worthless," I shook my head and said.
Phoebe Billy glared at me with icy eyes. "Mason Raymond, you destroyed my opportunity. What more do you want?"
"What more?" I arched an eyebrow, then smirked coldly. "To end your life, naturally."
A flash of viciousness crossed Phoebe Billy's gaze.
His eyes narrowed as he spoke. "End my life? I am..."
"Save it. Don't waste time telling me which family you belong to. I couldn't care less. Hell, even if you were the king's old man, it wouldn't matter to me," I cut off Phoebe Billy.
Phoebe Billy's expression grew more furious, and he bellowed, "Mason Raymond, you're going too far! Do you think I, Phoebe Billy, can be pushed around?"
