Just as my palm was about to connect with Anton Schroeder's face, someone grabbed my wrist. Turning my head, I saw Blair Blake gripping me tightly.
"Mr. Raymond, don't do it," Blair shook his head at me.
"Mason, calm down," even Jasper Thompson advised.
This made me frown slightly. The attitude of these two clearly showed Anton's extraordinary status.
"You want to hit me?" Anton squinted his eyes. "You fucking want to hit me? Do you know who I am?" he said coldly.
I ignored Anton and looked at Blair, saying, "What's going on here?"
Blair pulled me and said, "Anyway, I'll replenish the herbs for you, just don't ask anymore, okay?"
"No." I broke free from Blair's restraint.
I turned to Elder Drake and said, "Elder Drake, tell me the truth about what happened."
Elder Drake seemed very conflicted, wanting to speak but feeling that it wasn't appropriate.
I took a deep breath and said, "I, Mason Raymond, can handle all the consequences."
