"Watson, watch your language!" Jasper Thompson scolded with a stern face.
The girl named Watson didn't seem bothered at all. She ran to my side, gave me a thorough once-over, then muttered, "Nothing special, he looks just average, even a bit old."
"Watson, stop talking nonsense! Call him brother!" Jasper Thompson quickly reprimanded her.
I couldn't help but feel amused and exasperated simultaneously. Looking at Jasper, I asked, "Uncle Jasper, is this your daughter?"
Jasper forced a bitter smile and replied, "Yes, I spoiled her too much. Mason, please don't take it personally."
"It's fine," I shook my head dismissively.
Then I turned my attention to Watson and said, "From the way you talk, it seems like you and Mabel are quite close?"
"Of course! My sister Mabel treats me so well!" Watson declared proudly.
I nodded slightly. Since she had a good relationship with Mabel Sean, I naturally wouldn't mistreat her.
