The Emperor's attitude caused the officials' opinions to begin to shift.
The Sixth Prince noticed that more officials were privately seeking ties with the Crown Prince than ever before.
This was entirely contrary to their expectations.
According to Concubine Shu's plan, the Second and Fifth Princes were to be brought down, and the Crown Prince blamed, removing all three from the equation, leaving the Sixth Prince to stand unchallenged before the Emperor and the court.
But now, the Emperor was favoring the Crown Prince more than ever!
The Sixth Prince grew restless and went to Changchun Palace again.
When Concubine Shu saw him, her expression darkened slightly. "Didn't I tell you to visit here less during this time?"
