8:30 PM, Southern Watertown, a private airport.
A small plane is parked at the end of the runway. The pilot, having received a text message, has already started the aircraft and is ready for departure as soon as Matthew and the others board.
On the other side of the runway, a Chevrolet sedan is speeding towards the small plane, trailed by smoke and dust from a grenade explosion.
A black SUV, with its body covered in scrapes, bursts through the smoke before the astonished eyes of Matthew and Earl, its three passengers largely unharmed.
"Fu-k! How did he manage that?"
Matthew's face is pale with rage; he reaches under the seat for more grenades, but grasps air, realizing he has already thrown them all.
Matthew reaches for Earl, not taking his eyes off the SUV in the rearview mirror, and demands:
"Give me your grenades!"
"Forget the grenades now!"
Earl slaps away Matthew's hand, shouting gravely:
"More people are storming the airport; we're surrounded!"
"What?"
