Hearing Reesi's words, Luo An could no longer continue chatting with Potante Byrne, nodded at him, and immediately took the folder and walked out of the team leader's office at a brisk pace.
In the corridor, Luo An and Reesi hurried towards the elevator while asking,
"What exactly happened?"
"Ten minutes ago, LAPD went to investigate a house based on a report and found a corpse in one of the rooms."
Both entered the elevator, and Reesi's face looked awful:
"People die or go missing every day in Los Angeles, LAPD thought it was a routine case until they saw the body..."
"But the body's tongue was missing, right."
Exiting the elevator, Luo An continued Reesi's words, striding towards the Special Investigation Team while asking:
"What does the victim's death scene look like? What was the cause of death?"
Reesi shook her head, following Luo An into the Special Investigation Team:
