Hoisted onto their shoulders by two men wearing shirts over their heads, concealing their faces, John Rodriguez did not panic despite his bruised and swollen face.
He watched with a laugh as the young man in a suit, walking briskly, looking grave, and carrying a pistol behind Jose, said:
"Farhad, look at yourself now! You're even more wretched than your father was before he died!"
Upon hearing this, the young man in the suit, Farhad, cast a cold glance at John but said nothing, though his mind was already set on tying John up later to let him watch as his flesh was slowly sliced off.
Seeing that Farhad did not respond, John, with his bruised face, smiled even wider, hurling insults more joyfully.
On the other side, the men wearing shirts over their heads at the end of Factory No. 3 had all been killed by members of the SWAT team.
