The water stopped cascading down soon enough and after the guards confirmed that there was no more coming from higher slopes, people finally took a breath of relief.
The harsh water rundown caused a bit of damage, especially among the landscaping. A lot of shrubs, small trees, playgrounds, stalls, benches, and so on were washed out and would take a bit to repair. The houses fortunately were all in one piece, and so were their citizens.
Well, there was some interior damage to the houses of people who opened their doors while flooding, especially when the door leaf allowed for more water to come in. This caused water to flow in and the force of water made it difficult to close the door again.
Other than that, everyone seemed A-ok.
Within another hour, everyone was already outside, cleaning up. Everyone made a move, even the lazy ones. They had literally sat for weeks in the cold, they had to move!
