Penny and the others looked at Otto. Seeing his interest in the pool, they smiled, sat on the free spaces of his recliner, and asked if he wanted to take a dip too.
They flinched, however, when they turned and saw him with a somber expression. "Otto?"
Otto's blue eyes had been tracing over Misha's figure, which would occasionally emerge from the water. Each time, his breath hitched.
Then he'd see the head of the other man, always following closely behind Misha, and Otto's breath hitched for a different reason altogether.
"Otto?" Penny and her friend asked again, a bit more concerned this time.
Otto barely heard them as he watched Misha swim around, spending a bit more time underwater than before, but he was still closely followed by Hubert. They seemed to have entered a race of sorts and stopped somewhere on the other end.
