Su Jiyai lifted her hand subtly. A soft shimmer spread through the air around her, an invisible barrier that enclosed her completely.

"Don't lie," Su Jiyai interrupted sharply. The barrier pulsed faintly, reacting to her rising energy. "If you think you can deceive me, you've chosen the wrong person."
Dong Wuhe stared at Su Jiyai with narrowed eyes, her lips curling into a faint, mocking smile.
"You really are clever, Ms. Su," she said softly, her voice carrying a strange undertone.
