Ethan and Astharel's conversation wrapped up not long after. Without wasting time, Ethan took his leave and went off to find Kyros, Elyra, and Seran, the Gem Dragon.
"Kyros, Elyra, Seran," Ethan said straight to the point, "I'm gonna need you three to hold down the fort here for a while. Help Astharel stabilize the situation across the seas."
"It's an honor, Master!" Kyros replied immediately, though a slight frown creased his brow. "We're all more than willing to serve, but… do we have enough manpower? I mean, in terms of elite combat strength, we're covered—Elyra and I can handle that. But when it comes to regular troops, we're seriously lacking. Right now, we've only got a little over a hundred Kirin and Sacred Kirin combined…"
"That's not nearly enough to cover such a huge territory."
"Don't worry," Ethan said with a grin. "I came prepared. I'm leaving you with an extra 100 Sacred Kirin, 500 Kirin, and 300 Gem Dragons. That should be enough, right?"
