Summary
Requested by FeralG3 - Ragnar was the Dragonborn who found himself in the beautiful but war-torn Serenus where a major century-long war happened and he was hired to end it by the High Queen of Eostia via the capture of Olga Discorida with the help of the Black Dogs. Chapter One: The Prologue

Serenus, also known as Purity's Star in the tongue of the Elvenkind, Iron Rose in the tongue of Dwarves, Rising Sun of the Earth in the tongue of Beastfolks, Rapturous Hell by the tongue of Demon, and the Land of the Two Goddess Sisters in the tongue of Human.
It was a beautiful and marvelous nation rich with land, people, races, and diverse cultures across the country. From the Land of Eostia to the Land of Aurelia and much more to count and remember. Home of five unique species who made their home in Serenus.
Humankind: the first youngest and most populous of the five-race.
Elfkind: the oldest and first least populous of the five-race.
Dwarvenkind: the second oldest and least populous of the five-race
Beast-Kind: the second most populous of the five-race.
The land never has a true sense of who was the first to migrate into Serenus but often accepted by the people that Elvenkind were the original inhabitants of Serenus and depend upon the culture either gifted the other younger three great land and wealth or all of them decided to share the land and started their own way of life and developed their kingdom.
During this enigmatic time, peace and prosperity and harmony between the four of the race…but it was fleeting all due to the final of the race and the most loathsome of the five races of Serenus.
The Demon Race, the Inferno Race, and the Horde of the Holy Land were the race who were nothing but a parasitic and evil race of species deserving of the fear, hatred, and prejudice of the rest of the five-race due to their barbarism and love for rape, pillaging and slaughtering across the country with pure unfettered maliciousness, satisfaction, and glee.
Truly a vile race deserves to die for their cruelty and sin against the people of Serenus. But their high fertility rates, inhuman strength, and incredible durability made it impossible to purge their filth from the land.
And it went even worse. When one day, a huge fortress sprouted up in the north over a single night. "The Black Fort" as it would be known sucked the very life out of its very surroundings. The earth became black and barren, the water became as toxic as swamps, and even the air was not spared for it became so cloudy and red that it was nearly impossible to discern night and day. All of this energy was collected by the fortress and fed to the demons to give them strength, but also to keep them under control by their leader, the Queen of the Dark Elves, Olga Discordia.
The Queen of the Dark Elves declares war upon the human land of Eostia and Aurelia with the help of her "Monster Legion" to attack the surrounding human lands. Ruthless and brutal in their attack and would have sundered the human kingdoms if not for a pair of High Elves, Celestine Lucross, and Serafina Renatus.
It was said that Celestine and Serafina saw a terrible vision of death and despair not for the human but for all of Serenus if they do nothing about it. So the high-elven duo left their home to support the human the kingdom of Eostia and Aurelia in the war against Olga and the Demons known as the "Great War of Serenus". For centuries these three elven have fought against each other with each never truly gaining the upper hand in the war and always ending in a stalemate.
Over the course of the war. Celestine and Serafina had used their influences to build an alliance in their respective chosen kingdom. For Celestine the Seven Shield of Eostia. For Serafina the Holy Alliance of Aurelia. Celestine ordered seven fortress-kingdom to defend against the Monster Legion of Garan and Serafina managed to create a mutual alliance with the neighboring city around Aurelia to defend their home from the monster raids. The two high elves have recruited several individuals of great skills and experience to support them in their war against Olga and the Monster Horde as a last resort.
In Eostia - Claudia Levantine, Captain of the Church's Dawn Templars and the right-hand woman of High Queen Celestine of Eostia, leader of the dwarves Luu-Luu, Kaguya the Shrine Maiden, leader of the mercenaries Maia, and Princess Knights Alicia Arcturus and Prim Fiorire. These individuals would become to be known as Princess Knights of the Seven Shield Alliance
In Aurelia - Iris Arcadia the Princess General of the Kingdom of Aurelia, Astrid Flamel the next Grand Master of Kimia, Eleonora Bern the Bishop of the Aurelia Church's Chapter, Kohaku the mysterious leader of a secret spy organization called "Kunoichi", and Mel Mel the acting General of Tulle. These individuals would be known as the Holy Maiden of Aurelia.
Of course, it was not just the Princess Knights and the Holy Maiden fighting. Many mercenaries were hired out to help bolster the army's numbers. Over time it became commonplace to have mercenaries fight alongside soldiers and knights. One group especially had made an insurmountable impact, the Black Dogs or Kuroinu group. Led by their mighty leader Vault, the Kuroinu had pushed back the demons so far that it opened up a chance to attack the Black Fortress. After so many years the war seemed to be coming to an end, thanks to the aid of the Kuroinu mercenary company. They just needed to make one more push.
And peace shall reign in Serenus…
