After finishing matters at Namo Temple, Qin Liuxi was about to head to Lingxu Palace when Ren Ting approached her, looking as if he had something to say but couldn't.

Ren Ting's face turned ashen.

Ren Ting stepped back two paces, pressed his lips, cupped his hands to salute her, and then turned away.
Lan Xing gazed at her eagerly.
"Still the same words, you wait here." Qin Liuxi told Lan Xing.
Lan Xing's expression dimmed, and he lowered his head.
Qin Liuxi couldn't be bothered to cater to his emotions; this whole mess had been troubling enough, making her increasingly anxious, as she concentrated on wanting to deal with Chi Zhenzi.
