Sheng Shi heard his mother cry, and felt even worse than she did. He slowly held Mrs. Sheng's hand back, his voice sounding somewhat weak as he said, "Mom, I just want Chu Chu."
That voice from Sheng Shi made Mrs. Sheng's heart immediately soften. She slowly wiped her tears and nodded, speaking recklessly, "I promise you, Shi'er, I'm on your side. I'll go find your dad later and tell him if he keeps pushing you, I'll divorce him!"
Sheng Shi knew that his mother usually had no stance, but he didn't really hope that she would fight for him.
After all, his grandfather was someone even his mother dared not provoke.
