The sea breeze was strong, making the candles flicker, now bright, now dim. She then saw the pitch-black sky suddenly light up with many beautiful fireworks.
Soon after, several more loud noises followed in succession, and the entire sky lit up with fireworks of various colors, beautifully and splendidly.
Gu Lanshan hadn't entirely processed the situation when the lights on the previously darkened beach suddenly all lit up.
Her eyes, accustomed to the dark, were suddenly exposed to the light, making her close them reflexively.
