Sheng Shi raised his hand, grasping Gu Lanshan's chin. His face leaned toward her, almost touching, before he suddenly stopped. He stared intently into her eyes and said, "To me, it is the point."
Gu Lanshan couldn't evade his gaze; she was forced to look into Sheng Shi's eyes. After a moment, she pursed her lips and said, "Shi'er, I'm afraid I might drag you down in the future."
Sheng Shi was taken aback, but then his face suddenly lit up with a smile. He looked at Gu Lanshan, his long eyelashes fluttering, sparking as if electrified, shooting towards her.
Gu Lanshan felt electrified, her breathing unsteady. She gently turned her head, struggling out of Sheng Shi's now relaxed hand, and said, "Shi'er, let's get the ugly part over with, if in the future, some rumors that are bad for you were to leak, don't blame me."
