Chapter 14 - Chapter 4 Episode 11

 ~ ~

Eent, eent, chich, chich, peering up at a foreign projectile plunging into their electrical field at high speeds, a Ringalea of Genrill rose out of their sleep with a glow of lava streaming through the creases of their armored bodies. "Ommm" emitting an electrical pulse in synchronicity the family of stag-like beasts began to construct an electrical barrier by using the vibrations ricocheting from their tune forked nose.

Sensing the electrical barrier upon entry of the Genrill's field the plummeting quintessence took a deep inhale causing the giant orb sitting on its chest to radiate a reddish yellow before releasing a horrifying screech and beam of energy from its Tasmanian maw.

Focusing on their intruder the Ringaleas tree like antlers glew like the dawning sun while still allowing night to be night. Eint, yeeint, pitch, generating electricity from their hooves up in whipping coils, the charged streaks swirled and popped around their horn. Aiming their forks to where the trespasser will fall peyoom, peyoom, peyoom the Genrills fired laser beam after laser beam but the creature merely covered itself with its wings and commenced to spin like a drill at high speeds.

Booosh, plunging into the earth the kangaroo bodied quintessence bore through the hardened lava. "Reeeun" erupting out of the ground the quint's arms shot out and his claws swept past his target missing the Genrill by an inch.

"Urnt, urnt" grunting with the sweep of their heads to the heavens at their bone plated enemy the Generill snapped, crackled, and popped once again with power.

Detecting his prey next move the intruder threw its bone covered Tasmanian Devil head back releasing both a howl and blood like sphere which absorbed the electric bolts. Absorbing the blood sphere the Quint converted the energy into four blasts hovering in the palms of his four hands. One for each arm and each clawed wing.

Hurling the first two blasts at the earth causing dust, dirt, and debris to settle in the air, the Quint made of bone and muscle then fired energy beams from the palm of his wings causing his prey to scurry about while the beams moved across the ground like searchlights carving into the earth.

"Grrr" growling at how easy the Genrills skipped, ran, and bounced throughout the dense lush forest the intruder arm became a blade. Slinging back its arm of bone and muscle, wapish, he struck out like a whip with its elastic limb.

Bink, Bink, zigging and zagging two piercing strikes booosh, booosh, booosh one of the Genrill found itself surrounded by a fence of bones with nowhere to escape.

"Is that the power of the Protozoan?" Asked Culus with a rotation of his head. "Or is it the child's? It's almost as if they were one. This screen of light must be an illusion…yet you haven't reason to deceive us." Sighing the Maestro asked his counterpart. "What are your thoughts Mina?"

"Samson…" contemplating her words Mina replied, "...reminds me of the races of smokeless beings created by fire. Truly having no form though they have a form within themselves."

Huffing out a laugh Abbott's eyes slid over to Mina. "You speak of the Djinni." Rocking his head before laying his eyes back on the screen of light, The Omega head rotated at the sight of Samson plunging down on his prey and the thought of Djinni. "They are quite extraordinary."

"Woah" running down the long, rough, and bumpy neck of a colossal turtle-like creature, Samson bounded into the foliage perched on the quintessence sombrero shaped head. "Beautiful…Pealim are we going to that island?"

"That is correct." Replied Abbott with a grin. "Welcome to the city of…"

"Aneuroma!" hollered Sarai dashing to the head of the Quintessence.

"That explains the Tapis Mellifera." Said Mina with a rub of her chin. "Omega, tell me your purpose of escorting us to one of the Burgh's of our Kingdom?"

"Fret not. We are here to gather data on your Kingdom." Replied Abbott with a smile. "You would be surprised of those I align myself with."

"We are aware of your works Omega but our princess takes priority above all else." Spoke Culus, "Leading us here is leading her to the hands of our enemy."

"Just know that peace is always in my presence." Gazing off at the floating island, The Omega ushered them to do the same.

"Acil!"leaping and waving at the Chisapho, Sarai leaned on the rim of the Tapis head. "Acil!" She shouted once again before projecting draconic wings on her arms, swish, jetting out of the plant like foliage

"Saraii…" sighing Mina shot a swift glance at Abbott. "That is why…"

"Fret not. Only people that recognize us is us and…"

"Sarai" sung Acil with a tap of her horse hooves, a spread of burgundy and gold eagle wings and an opening of lioness arms. "What are you doing here?"

"And Acil." remarked Abbott as he took in the impatient glare coming from the Maestro.

"Mina and Culus brought me here." Said Sarai with a dive into the Centaur's arms.l

"Is this reality?" Peering up at the dino sized Mellifera landing on the soft rich island soil, the centaur took a gazed up at The Omega with a facial expression which spoke volumes.

"It appears Acil was unaware of our coming." Said Culus.

"I thought better than to tell her in advance for I wanted to see the reaction. For an expression can relay stories if you are aware."

"Abbott The Omega." Watching the Tapis head descend to the Earth, Acil gave her guest a smile. "I see you brought company."

"My apologies for not warning you but certain details I wish not to speak over the waves for I am unaware of those involved in this particular moment."

"I am aware of your reasoning that's why your presence vexes me not." Said Acil with a nod and exhale. "Though preparation could save a soul." Turning his attention to the demons the centaur told them. "I have information which you would consider interesting."

"If that is reality then we must find shade swiftly."

Bobbing his head with a giant grin Acil replied, "Speak less." Forming a mini jet from the earth the centaur stomped his hooves on the ground causing the ship to rise. "Electricity and magnetism can be used in magnificent ways. Hold on."

"It is time that we commence our voyage." Peering at the half dead Mastax Leader Tecto shook his head. "It has almost been a beat." Slapping the flesh off Kirannine the Inkan gazed at the battered man bound to his cage. "Regardless of how many men we torture or kill the remaining refuse to speak on the person who hired them." Sighing, Tecto shook his head. "Our goal is to test the limits of your hunger yet these beings refuse to inform us of the whereabouts of their Aelik. At this moment words have no effect. Nutri I have notice you gain both the knowledge and experience of those you devour."

Stepping up to the task Nutri stood over the practically lifeless Mastax Warriors. "Due to your refusal to relay the information of your Aelik and enslaving, murdering, and raping innocent beings you have me the Acquirements. You will receive devouring." Eyes glowing orange the Rhukin sprang on Kirannine.

"We have arrived." Cheerily stretching out her arms Acil said with a great big smile. "Welcome to Aneuroma, The City of Streams."

"You live on a mountain?" asked Samson. "I resided in a mountain cave with Marrubi and Zawa." Lifting his head up in thought of his parents' grief began to tug at the Rhukin.

"We live in or on the mountain." Lowering her craft Acil exited the vehicle. "We are the mountain." Approaching a tree with three congo like branches extending from its trunk the Chisapho gave Samson a smile. "You have to get in the flow and tune yourself into its frequency and vibration." boop boop bibby, bibby, bop, a boom, boom. The Quickset tapped a beat into the tree causing the mountain to blur, static and frizzle until a futuristic city floating on water stood before them.

"Hmmm" Rising out of the water an armored arrow nosed caterpillar of a Quint began to sway before them as if moving to the rhythm of the beat.

Summoning the creature to them with a steady beat of the drums it slid through the water like a shark except instead of a fin it held a gleaming red dome on top of its head. "This is Marla." Said Acil as the humongous worm of a creature swam to the edge. Looking at the sparkly eyed Samson the Chisapho gave him a smile. "She is a Dople Lepitin."

Laying its peterbilt truck of a head on the warm Marla began to make whale like sounds before her pearl red dome fogged over to a purplish green hue. "We may enter."

"Enter?" watching everyone else enter the bubble like dome with awe Samson gazed up at his Pealim with wonder.

"Go ahead." Abbott told him with a gesture.

Laughing Samson took off running into bloop he stood in an aquatic tropical jungle with colorful urchin like creatures floating everywhere.

"It's so pretty." Said Samson in complete awe.

"You have to relish these creatures because once they metamorph and become a totally different entity." Said Acil.

 "Metamorph?"

"Correct these quints will create a cocoon of mucus in the water which wraps around them in a cone spiral. From there they transmutate into one out of 2 creatures either a Sygna or Glaucous." Replied The Quickset.

 "Can I see?"

"At this moment it would not be possible for once in this state all the Quintessence can do is drift until the day of their rebirth." Gazing at the tiny spikes floating around Acil said. "If for any reason the dome shall burst, immediately capture one of the blue Ormets. These little creatures will puff and supply you with oxygen. If there are no questions we can get our move on." Receiving no reply The Quickset snatched a green Ormet out of the atmosphere. Envisioning her destination the chisapho then imagined that picture traveling from her mind down her neck through her arm and into the tiny urchin. Feeling the rumble of the Dople Lepitin as it lift itself Acil threw her finger towards the heavens. "Aneuroma we are on our way."
