It was thirty minutes past twelve, on a beautiful Sunday with the sky clear and the sun hung high above. In his private villa, President Su, Su Yuan, was going through his files behind his computer. On his desk, were a coffee mug at his right and a pile of papers at his left. Even though he was wearing casual clothes, a comfortable cloth pants and a white shirt which two buttons were opened, the expression on his face was very much business-like. Adjusting his frameless glasses on his nose, he listened to his housekeeper, a kind looking middle aged woman. She was short and plump but her voice, when she willed it, carried really far.
"A car full of roses?" He repeated after her.
President Su's voice had in its tone something akin to surprise, then frustration when uttering the last words. Old madam Wan stood there, still waiting for instructions. This time after all, it wasn't a bouquet like the previous weeks, but an entire car, there was no way it could enter the trash bin!
Su Yuan passed his right hands in his messy hair and sighed. How persistent, he thought. It wasn't that in his thirty two years of life no one had ever courted him but this, this… this was madness!
Messing with his hair for a bit, he then lifted his face to say, in all seriousness,
"If I remember correctly, there is a wedding two houses ahead, send it there to his own name…" the corner of his lips lifted a bit as he finished the instruction, "begging the bride for one last chance."
Let these dogs fight each other!
