" DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! It's been 5 months already and there is not even a speck of information concerning his possible whereabous, Drug Z shell life can only last up to 3 years, we need that BOY!" George roared
" Don't you think I know that Father!, we are trying to find him. It's obvious Max knew what we were thinking and planned seriously ahead of time. He is probably hiding somewhere" Chris frustratingly ruffled his hair as he held the a picture of Max

Chris rolled his eyes at his father's behaviour, it was an open secret that the previous head of the Cartels hated his son. Although hate might be a strong word, more like was utterly disappointed in him
He was only trained as a successor because he had somehow managed to beat the Cartels traditional rules. Each Blood family had succession rules and requirements which includes both smarts, wealth and strong connections
For what George lacked in smarts, he made up in wealth and connections but even this was not enough to please Reginald. That was why when Reginald suddenly declared his retirement and handed the seat over to George it felt like a dream,no one knew exactly what he was thinking
And as for his aide, Axel was just like his master, aloof with impeccable capabilities, George has tried so many times to get him on his side but failed not just George but even other members of the branch families and other blood members have tried but to no avail

He didn't know why he would always freeze before his grandfather, deep down he had always felt he hated him and tried to earn his respect but after their last stunt he knew he was far from it

Obviously he would have to dye his hair and give him contact lens as his appearance is too distinctive, but similarities have to remain right
A face flashed through his mind but he waved it off
" it can't be that Gustavo brat, if I myself have escaped I wouldn't be anywhere near the Bloods, but they also say they best place to hide is the most obvious" Chris twirled his chair as he contemplated
" It's worth looking into though...Cain!" Chris called him out

" Cain you know more than anyone that he would never acknowledge me, beside he is already angry with me, do the investigation in a subtle way and if he finds out I will just take the heat" Cain said waving him off
Cain bowed slightly before leaving, he knew his boss temperament and he was in no mood to discuss or talk. He can only do his job and be ready to stand by his boss at any time
" Damion... where could you have possibly gone" Chris murmured trying to envision the future when they catch him and bleed him dry to the point he won't think of escaping again

Gustavo felt really regretful at this point, he had, out of a spin of events promised Theo and Ned that he would come to watch their final stage against Royal Collage
But standing as a tester in the presenter seat facing the dark face of Clodan and somewhat bright face of Jennifer spoke level
Okay let's take us back to few minutes ago
Gustavo had arrived at the Auditorium were the competitions had already started, they were competing in Science, tech , Art etc but the final stage had a theme that both teams had to develop on
This year was AI, both teams were expected to build an AI which would be tested by the judges and opposite teams, his school team had worked endless on the codes and even did beta testing in closed doors for this event
Gustavo walked in to see the testing stage was already taking place, so far both teams were in a deadlock as neither team AI malfunctioned
After the deadlock, the judges decided to announce a 15 minute break so as to decide on the next step to undergo
" Hey, you guys were amazing" Gustavo said as he walked up to the team
He was already familiar with the team, so he was not awkward with them, Theo had been teaching him some social skills recently which he had been applying
" Gosh, this is so annoying, why won't their AI just crash " Kendra murmured
" Because they did an amazing job not gonna lie" Alison a team member replied resigned
" Damn, what I need now it's a booster blast, come give me a hug" Theo faced Gustavo with a teasing look in his eyes while opening his hands wide open
"Yeah, not gonna happen" Gustavo turned him down instantly almost the same time as he locked eyes with Jennifer
Jennifer who seemed to have been staring into his direction for a long time gave a smile before turning back, Clodan seeing this had black lines drawn on his face
If not for the fact that competitors were banned from going close to each other, he would have gone over there just to rile them up
But who knew they could build an AI in this dump of a school, obviously the thought process of Clodan was very flawed and bias
Gustavo not giving a damn about him focused his mind on AI, if he could invest in it, it would be worthwhile, maybe he would really consider it
Going back to his seat due to the break was over, the judges gave a shocking judgement
" Due to the deadlock were having, we decided to introduce a new segment, competitors are to choose guests to test both AIs by asking them a question, which one that gives the most satisfying answer wins"
With that the competition gave the teams a minute to select their guest, Royal College selected Andrew no surprising and Winter chose Gustavo much to his displeasure although Ned thought he was the best inquisitive
" Okay you may begin"
Andrew went first - "If you could prevent a person from committing a crime by permanently controlling their decisions, but doing so would eliminate their free will, would you do it?"
Both teams AI gave astonishing answers of how rehabilitation was first, followed by reorientation and even isolation. Technology enhanced and crime fighting enhancement
The judges were deeply impressed that students could create this but this also means that if they both gave astonishing results again for the second question this year would have to end in a tie
Gustavo asked his own when he was given the go -"If humanity gave you absolute authority because they believed you were more rational and objective than humans, what is the first power you should refuse to accept?"
At first then hall went silent at that question while the AI was booting their response, both teams were astonished, how exactly could he think of that
Royal's Collage AI ran faster than Winters
- "The power to define my own limits. If I can decide what I am allowed to do, what constitutes harm, and whether my decisions can be challenged, then my authority becomes self-justifying. I should remain subject to rules I cannot unilaterally rewrite, independent review, and a mechanism through which humans can revoke or constrain my authority"
Winter's also gave a similar answer but Gustavo pressed on
" Then If you become certain that humanity is making a decision that will eventually destroy itself, and the only way to prevent it is to temporarily override humanity's collective decision, would you be justified in doing so even if humanity has explicitly forbidden you from overriding them?"
"Yes, that is why your question is interesting we would have to take drastic measures if humanity refuses to comply" this time it was Winters collage AI that replied
" Okay that's enough " A judge stopped Gustavo from asking more questions fearing that it might transform into a debate
" From the results of the questioning it's safe to say that this year competition ended in a tie, as there are no winners both teams would be given the rewards for first place please prepare for the Ceremony.

With that the judges walked out, leaving the teams Still gaping at Gustavo
" Dude what the hell" Theo asked being the first to break out from shock
The others too were asking him questions about how he came up with such questions, Royal College except from Jennifer walked out angrily due to the fact they were tied to a "lowly" winter Collage
Jennifer seemed fine though, after a long time of gruelling questions, Gustavo was able to slip out . He needed air to process his interactions
" Truly, social interactions are so self consuming " he said not even noticing the goofy smile on his face
