This whole day had been hectic. It wasn't easy to convince people to fear a threat which they couldn't see, especially since a lot of people here were religious and believed that the three gods would protect them from these 'unholy threats'. A lot chose not to barricade their homes at all, they felt safe enough, and didn't want to budge.
Bardeelus and the team got another day to prepare these people for what was yet to come, and if they could convince just two-hundred more houses to get barricaded, then they may stand a chance of survival.
It would obviously be hard to fight the demons, so the defensive position they were trying to form in this town was the easiest and safest option.
