Musubi was right, we rather quickly made it to the small country town square that was surrounded by a huge wooden wall and when we got to the entrance. The large wooden wall that blocked off the entrance was pushed aside into an alleyway allowing us into the compound.
And as soon as we got in, a light feminine voice spoke out excitedly. "Oh! Musubi and Akitsu are back with a whole cart full of stuff! I call first pick of any booze!"
I looked over and I saw who could only be Kazehana flying over from one of the nearby buildings with her raising an eyebrow as she saw me come out of the covered go-cart.
"Oh? And who are you young man?" She asked and I noticed how her eyes tightened on my interdimensional bracelet. So either she would think I was some kind of big shot for having one of them like she herself did.
Or I had taken it off the corpse of a more powerful waifu/husbando.
Regardless, I didn't even get to say anything as Musubi picked me up and said proudly. "This is my Ashikabi! He is the best Ashikabi in the universe because he was able to fix Akitsu's broken Sekirei tama!"
Kazehana blinked and gave quickly glanced at Akitsu, and noticing how she indeed didn't have the large tattoo across her forehead anymore. She looked back at with something in her eyes as she said. "Well, that is certainly something."
Then a soft rumble rang out and I watched as all the packed-away food supplies glowing before they came up into the air. With another female voice speaking up. "Alright, introductions can wait. I want to get all the perishable food in the freezer's."
Low and behold, there was Fubuki, who had come out of the small supermarket to the north of the large courthouse at the center of the town's square.
Akitsu, Musubi and I quickly followed behind Fubuki as Kazehana spoke up with a pout. "Ok ok Fubuki, I am getting back to watching the perimeter. Make sure to save me a snack though!"
And the wind Sekirei flew back into the air with her quickly disappearing in the surrounding forest outside of the small town.
Coming into the small grocery store, I realized that the freezers that Fubuki meant were literally a row of deep freezers with a dozen papers taped to them that listed their contents and what went where.
"So what's your name young man? Mine is Fubuki but I bet these two already told you about us." Fubuki said folding her arms under her breasts as she gave me a measuring look.
Taking the food and starting to put the food where it belonged in the freezers and the pantries. I introduced myself obviously. "My name is Jake Bariss, and yeah Akitsu and Musubi talked a bit about you all but not too much as we were more busy paying attention to our surroundings."
"So Jake, I am not going to mince words... This group is a group of literally more than fifteen women. There will likely be a bit of growing pains if you are going to be sticking with us." Fubuki noted calmly.
I nodded even as Musubi said fiercly. "Hmph! Our Ashikabi will do just fine! He is super cool, he can cook really well, and... He also is really good at kissing!"
Fubuki just threw a look of pity at me even as Akitsu nodded sagely at Musubi's words even saying in her normal calm deadpan. "Our Ashikabi is indeed very good at kissing... Jake, would you like to go outside and kiss more in fact?"
To which I smiled wryly and said gently. "After we are done working Akitsu. And I should introduce myself to everyone so no one is surprised by a random wandering around."
"That's a very good idea Jake... Don't want Karasuba cutting you in half out of nowhere after all." Fubuki said dryly and I saw both Musubi and Akitsu still at the same time.
And then the room became cold with loud snapping noises ringing out from Musubi's fist as both Sekirei knew that such an 'accident' could easily happen. So Musubi said firmly. "My Ashikabe, you stay right here with Fubuki and Akitsu, I am going to go tell everyone that's here!"
I gave Fubuki a look who shrugged and said. "We just have to sort the food which will only take a couple of minutes. So go on ahead, it's a good thought with how... Stab happy some people are."
And with that Musubi didn't wait for another word and was off!
Running out of the small grocery store with her charging off to go tell everyone about me... And probably gush about how I was 'Da Greatest Ashikabi ever!' Or something to that effect.
So I just worked to put everything away while noticing that past the shelving unit's on one side was a huge kitchen that had vent's made out of what looked like stained wood or something leading out of the side of the building.
And on the other side was a row of tables, so I said. "So everyone has their meals here or something? Akitsu and Musubi before they decided they loved me and winged themselves on me, wanted me to come act as the chef for the group."
Akitsu instead of Fubuki answered calmly as she picked up four large bag's of dried rice and put it away on the ground level of the shelving unit. "Yes, everyone in the group can typically eat a large amount of food. So it saves a huge amount of time to just have everyone come together to have three large meals together."
With Fubuki snorting and said with amusement. "And we can't forget the snacks all the girls hoard in the rooms they claimed to have at their leisure."
But Akitsu just noted calmly. "Yes, but it's not home cooking made from the love of my Ashikabi... Plus it's snacks people hid in their clothes rather than adding it to the food stores here."
"A woman will kill another for some Belgian chocolate... Don't point fingers." Fubuki muttered under her breath making me chuckle at the byplay between the two of them.
