Her movement, purposeful, slow and deliberate suddenly ceased. Olivia's emotionless eyes turned static for a fleeting movement before confusion snuck in like an assassin's lethal blade in the dark.
Emotions swirled in them as she suddenly took in the sight of the corridor.
"W-what is going?" Before she could turn around to examine where she was, a figure flew in her direction with force, pinning her ruthlessly to the floor.
The crash left a dent that had her choking on the pain that bloomed below her as she struggled to process everything that was going on.
However, her cluelessness gave a blunt sting in her chest. She could feel a new wave of pain sprouting from the depth, spreading its torturing heat that made breathing much difficult the moment her gaze met his.
"R-Reginald," Olivia swallowed. He was about to hit her, his scarlet eyes brimming with a dark promise of something worse than death.
