As the long trip from Hokkaido ended, Kaneki and the Higanbana girls had finally returned to Shimotsuki.
After they've gotten off KaneLiner it immediately went away back to where it came from.
Natsuki: That was so much fun Kaneki. I've really enjoyed our trip.
Chikao: Yeah what should we do next time?
Natsuki: I know! Why not go to the beach?
Kaneki: Let's save the that talk for next time? I'm kind of tired from the trip and I kinda want to be lazy for the rest of the day.
Natsuki: Sure you and Yuuka had been controlling the train manually after all.
Yuuka: It was so much fun!
Kaneki: Glad you enjoyed it
Chikao: Well then I'll be on my way, see you guys later.
Natsuki: Same here. Can't wait for to give these sweets to my parents!
Natsuki and Chikao both started to go home.
Natsuki & Chikao: Bye everyone!

With Natsuki and Chikao now heading home, the others did the same.
Yuuka: Time to go, see you guys.
Yuuka also separated from the group and headed straight to her home.
Kaneki: Bye~
With their friends now gone.
Sachi: Lets head home.
Shino: Yeah.
The remaining four all walked home, they chatted a bit a long the way.
A few minutes later~
Kotori: Oh!
As they were walking home, they encountered Kotori who was also heading home with some bags filled with groceries.
Sachi & Kaneki: Ai-chan!/Onee-chan?
Shino: Oh hey Kotori-san what are you doing?
Kotori: Nothing much I've just been buying some groceries. So how did your trip went?
Sachi: It was a complete success! It was so much fun and relaxing.
Kaneki: Yeah and I had a chiropractor crack my body. It felt so good.
Miku: Yeah it was fun... Thanks for giving Onii-chan your ticket.
Kotori: EEEEEEEE!
Miku: Oh no she's acting weird again.
Kotori was very happy after hearing her sister thanking
her.
Kotori: My little sister thanked me!!!
Miku: Don't get the wrong idea. Just because I thanked you doesn't mean I accepted you yet.
Kotori: It's a start, so I'm fine with it!
Shino: Seriously thanks Kotori-san we had so much fun on our trip.
Kaneki: Yeah the bath was the best part, although yesterday's bath was a bit suffocating.
All 3: ?!?!
Kotori: Really? What happened?

Before Kaneki tell Kotori what happened, Shino covered his mouth with her hand and answered for him
Shino: Yuuka hugged him so tight in the bath for a while that's what happened.

(Well that's not exactly a lie, but it must be embarrassing for Shino so I'll let it be.)

Kaneki: It's alright, let's head home now.
And so they all went home with Kotori joining them.
After a while they all had arrived at their homes.
Kaneki: See you two tomorrow.
Sachi & Shino: Same here.
Kaneki: Let's go.
After Sachi and Shino went into their homes, the three Higanbana siblings did the same.
Kaneki & Miku: We're home~
Atsuo: Oh Kaneki, Miku welcome home.
Aiya: So how was your trip?
Kaneki & Miku: It was great.
Kaneki: Although I am feeling a bit lazy now, so I'll be in my room for a bit.
Atsuo: Okay rest well.

Miku: We've brought some souvenirs and sweets too.
Atsuo: Woah~ really?
Miku: Yup you guys can have these.

Kotori: Don't mind me, I'm just cleaning up the kitchen and putting the veggies where they needed to be.

Miku was getting a bit frustrated after hearing her Mom praise Kotori.
Meanwhile in Kaneki's room*

Kaneki: Haa~ that was so much fun.
Tohru: [Welcome home Kaneki-chan, was your trip with your friends fun?]
Immediately after laying down on his bed, Kaneki grabbed the Katana containing his Mom and the two of them began to talk.
Kaneki: Yup it was fun and relaxing, our first bath though was quite suffocating.
Tohru: [Ara? Why what happened?]
Kaneki: Natsuki, Yuuka, Sachi and Shino hugged me from all sides.
Tohru: [oooh~ tell me more]
Kaneki: Well it began with Yuuka hugging me on my left arm, followed by Natsuki hugging me tightly on my right.
Tohru: [Go on~]
Kaneki: And then Sachi got out of the bath and hugged me from behind, and then Shino hugged me form the front and she buried my face into her chest.
Tohru: [Hahahahaha!]
Kaneki: What's so funny?
Tohru: [Nothing I just find it funny, most of your friends had their chest on you?]
Kaneki: Pretty much although I have no idea how to feel about it, mostly because I was suffocating.
Tohru: [Hehe~ you've experienced nearly the same thing as your father]
Kaneki: What's that supposed to mean?
Tohru: [I did something similar to Shino-chan and suffocated your father with my chest]
Kaneki was very shocked upon hearing that.
Tohru: [No matter how he struggled I didn't let him go until he fainted]
Kaneki: I feel so bad for Papa, that must've hurt.
Tohru: [It's alright he definitely enjoyed it, he was a boy back then]
Kaneki: What's that supposed to mean?
Tohru: [Oh what am I saying? I shouldn't be telling you this, luckily you don't understand what I am saying]
Kaneki: I am so confused.
Tohru: [My Boy is so innocent]
Kaneki: hmm...
Tohru: [Anyways Kaneki-chan, did your friends and you have a relaxing time?]
Kaneki: Yeah we did, we got oil massage some of us got acupunctures as well.
Tohru: [Did it hurt?]
Kaneki: A little, but it became relaxing very quickly.
Tohru: [I'm glad you enjoyed your trip Kaneki-chan]
Kaneki: Oh yeah on our way to the inn-
Kaneki and Tohru talked for a few hours.
An hour later~

Miku: Hey Onii-chan, sorry for barging in.
After an hour of talking to his Mom, Miku came to visit Kaneki in his room.
Kaneki: Hey you need something?
Miku: Yeah Mom and Dad said we're going to be watching a movie later, they told me to ask you if you want to watch with us.
Kaneki: That sounds fun, what movie are we watching?
Miku: Dad bought a movie about sharks, apparently it's an old movie too.
Kaneki: Sharks? That's interesting sure tell them I'll join.
Miku: Got it. Oh yeah! Before I tell them I have a request.
Kaneki: Which is?
Miku: Could you do my hair? I want to try out a new hair style.
Kaneki: A new hairstyle? Sure I can help out with that later.
Miku's face brightened after Kaneki agreed to help her with her hair.
Miku: Okay! I'll be right back!
Miku then went to the living room.
Tohru: [Miku-chan's definitely trying to make an advance right?]
Kaneki: Oh most definitely.
Tohru: [Don't mess up her hair okay?]
Kaneki: I won't.
Tohru: [Could you give me to your Onee-chan? I want to talk to her]
Kaneki: Sure.

Kaneki: Hey Onee-chan, Mama wants to talk to you.
Kaneki used Darkness travel to give his Mom to Kotori.

Once Kotori grabbed Tohru, Kaneki pulled out his hand and undid his ability.
Miku: Hey Onii-chan!
Almost immediately, Miku came back to his room and sat right on Kaneki's lap.
Kaneki: Let's get started then, which hairstyle do you want?
Miku took out her phone and showed Kaneki what hairstyle she wanted.
Miku: Twin Braids.
Kaneki: Alright.
Kaneki looked at the picture and started trying to give Miku the hairstyle she wanted.
