After the torrential rain and flooding, the Cooperative Personnel and Extra Staff emerging from the Big Camphor Tree Base felt as if it were a different day.
The view before them had changed drastically from before they entered the Big Camphor Tree Base.
Large swathes of trees were toppled on the ground, their dried branches and leaves had fallen off, leaving only bare trunks and shattered branches. The fallen trees spread across the area, creating a chaotic scene.
Buildings also couldn't escape the doomsday disaster.
Traces of soaking from the rain still lingered on the outer walls of the buildings, revealing signs of water erosion.
There were mottled water stains on the walls and damaged tiles blown off by the wind. Some buildings had partly collapsed, leaving behind broken walls and fragmented furniture scattered on the ground.
In this desolate scene, walking along the road, there were no signs of people at the roadside.
