More than a hundred million years ago, when the Abomination with a sliver of Enoch's consciousness had fought against Eos, it had fled to hide from its enemies, knowing that with the present state of Existence, it would be nearly impossible for Enoch to gain a suitable body for his consciousness if he were to return.
The body of Eos had always been his goal. After the foolish destruction of Hundun, Enoch needed a suitable vessel for his consciousness, and this Abomination was the key.
During its previous battle, the direction of the Abomination's evolution was to resist the powers of its opponents, as it grew stronger and faster to resist Eos's speed and strength; however, after it escaped, the direction for its evolution changed… it was to become the perfect vessel for Enoch.
Without access to the supreme form of Eos, Enoch had to build his own from scratch, and it was a good thing he was able to acquire some portion of Enoch's unique structure from drinking the blood of Rowan.
