Only then did the crowd snap out of their fear of the two brutes' bloodthirsty gaze. Gripped by horror, they grabbed the steel pipes in their hands and smashed them down in unison, just as they had with two of their companions before.
The dull thuds of solid steel pipes striking flesh and bone resounded continuously.
In the blink of an eye, dark bruises and bloody marks appeared all over the bodies of the two brutes. Streaks of blood slid down their heads and dripped onto their bodies, emitting a pungent, metallic smell.
But to everyone's disbelief, these two men didn't even groan. They let the blood flow past their eyes and down their cheeks, their gazes still bloodthirstily sweeping over the crowd, like savage beasts whose predatory instincts were slowly awakening.
"How is this possible!" A skinny expert gamer, looking at the two eerie figures, subconsciously shuffled backward, retreating behind the others.
