"Mother, mother, it's right below! But I can't see it clearly, is there a way to see it better?"
In the past, Emhardt wouldn't have called Gabriel "Mother" in such a cheesy way, but ever since he discovered that pretending to be "Nob" made Gabriel exceptionally kind to him, bringing him out to stroll around, and this Angel seemed overwhelmingly powerful, dominating wherever she went in the Holy Land. Even Michael, the fierce and malevolent bad Angel, hadn't caught up with them after they left with the Wisdom Holy Object.
Hmm, and so Emhardt was won over, now calling "Mother" without the slightest hint of insincerity, even his signature raspy voice softened a bit.
Gabriel's face remained expressionless, yet she looked anxiously at Emhardt, who kept wanting to peek his head out of her embrace, seeming afraid he would fall through the clouds.
