"Ha... ha..."
Just after the moonlight enveloped all of Fisher's consciousness, he wasn't sure how much time had passed around him. It felt as if he hadn't been moved at all, yet it also seemed like he had experienced an extremely long dream. In the dream, there was nothing except for the incredibly familiar, enormous, and chilling moon hanging silently in the sky, coldly gazing at him.
In this ancient and unchanging gaze that sent shivers down the spine, Fisher awoke, but not naturally. He was forced to wake up, and it was extremely painful.
He simply felt suffocated, more so than when he was breathing underwater, as if his lungs were being drained dry without a hint of air to nourish them. All he could hear was the extreme ringing in his ears, as if his body had returned to an extremely fragile state. But clearly, this time it was due to another cause that led to this sensation.
