Before Ilois could burst into tears due to her grievances, Fisher had already sealed away that particularly foul-mouthed drake voice of Emhardt into his own pocket, not willing to let the latter's sulking affect others.
He would deal with Emhardt's temper later, although he felt that the man would get over it by himself after a while.
Having learned that Ilois was to ask Miss Valentina for leave shortly, they both went downstairs to the dining room. This time they were not the last to arrive, but rather the first. However, they didn't wait long as Heidlin pushed a neatly dressed Valentina slowly into the dining room, who glanced at Fisher incidentally.
