From that safer location where it attached itself, it could slither around the attached body, moving around and binding without suffering any damage.
It took quite a lot of practice through trial and error using different approaches to combat, besides always starting off attached to the arm of Ash, but it gradually got better.
If there was one way to overcome the existing problem, then it was the most obvious solution: to grow more powerful.
If it grew in power, then it would become longer and more durable, while the range of its movements and control could improve.
The main problem was that it was not a good way to approach trying to improve it further, as increasing its power would only help so much.
If it lacked proper experience and capabilities, then that growth would only help a little, but it could become a problem later, especially if it was lacking in other areas.
