"You're not getting away with this, Imogen."
Helena's voice cracked through the courtyard like a whip. Her golden ponytail swayed behind her with the confidence of a warrior marching to war, glinting under the noon sun as she strode away with military precision.
Imogen, of course, was not about to let her mother win this easily.
"What are you doing to this genius girl?!" Imogen protested dramatically, kicking her tiny legs in the air with as much fury as a furious kitten. Unfortunately, not a single kick managed to land on her mother. She huffed in frustration and immediately switched tactics. "Fine. Plan B!"
With great determination, Imogen lunged forward, mouth open like a tiny monster aiming to bite. Victory was practically within her teeth's reach. She was convinced this time, success would be hers.
