"How the almighty has fallen," Stella's eyes sparkled with mischief.
She was in no hurry to go down to the indoor pool house as she lazily climbed down the stairs, reeling in the euphoria of the ongoing commotion.
Stella wanted Raphael to first make a mess of the whole situation by introducing Valerie as his girlfriend. She could tell that such an introduction wouldn't go well with Adrian and she was anxious to see how Adrian would handle his cousin.
Stella also wanted Adrian to shred Valerie completely before intervening. She was certain that Adrian wouldn't spare Valerie even in the presence of his cousin.
"Come to think of it, how did she find her way to the pool?" Stella pondered.
She knew that any kind of pool - especially one as luxurious and captivating as the indoor swimming pool - was the perfect magnet to lure Valerie to her doom. She couldn't help but wonder if Valerie had taken off her clothes before Adrian found her or if she was already inside the pool.
