Archer was lying in bed, only to notice Ashoka approaching him with a knowing look in her amber eyes. However, as the Tigress got closer, he felt her body stiffen, and spotted her tail go straight as if she had just gotten a message.
''The fortress is under attack by the living husband,'' she informed.
When hearing the news, he let out a determined murmur. ''Alright, time to sort this mess out.''
Rising from his seat, Archer stretched his body, cracks echoing faintly in the quiet room. Following that, he grabbed the tigress's hand and teleported back to the real world, where they materialized on the wall.
Moments later, he quickly noticed the air was thick thanks to the cannon smoke lingering all over the ramparts. Explosions roared in the distance, their fiery bursts illuminating the night, while shouts and cries of defiance rang out from every direction.
