Emily took Ryan out of the room promising she will come back with something Mr Collins will eat.
Emily hold Ryan's hand took him to the restaurant beside the hospital. she sat him down gently as she took her hands after giving their orders
"Ryan are you feeling better?" she asked curiously
Ryan looked at her strangely, smiling sadly at her to assure her " Yes Emily, am fine now that you are here with me" He asked
Emily stretched forth her left hand and hold his right hand. "I know you love to prove mature and strong but you know, is okay to cry.. is okay to be weak, is okay to be sad, is okay to break down but don't let it consume you.. hiding your pain won't solve the issues but it will leave hole in your heart and deep wound that it might be very difficult to heal. You can't disclose everything with someone or anyhow person but you need to trust someone to tell or better still you can talk to yourself and screamed at the world where nobody is, to clear your head. Ryan I know you can do it" She said calmly
"Can I get out of here? .. I need a space" Ryan said and left the restaurant towards his car. He drove off angrily.
Emily shaked his head, gently collect the food and took it inside to meet Mr Collins.
"Dad!!!.. This is your food" She said and serve his food gently on the stood beside the bed. she took her seat gently as she watched him eat calmly
"Where is Ryan? I thought you both left this place?" He asked curiously
"Yes but he left angrily and I think he needs space like he said.. Dad are you okay?" She said gently
"What can I do?.. My wife is here laying restlessly on the bed and my son living a sad life for the past 20 years with a deep secret that he can't even discuss with anybody, not even me his father " He said sadly
"I know him, don't worry about him but focus on your wife and believe she will be fine" She said
"Thank you my child, thank you so much" He said softly and continue his food
Few hours later, Ryan is still missing
"Dad, pls do you know Ryan's house? should that be a question? pls I need his address " She said smiling. Mr Collins smiled at her and took a pen with his short jotter. torn it after writing the address for her "When you get there, press E, on the security lock Incase he refused to answer. Press M for the front door" He said softly
"Thank you Dad" Emily said, collected the paper and ran out.
Emily got to the address with her and drop from the cab she took. She ran towards the gate, pressed E and the gate open. She pressed M for the front door and it opened. she walked in and saw no one in the house, she moved closer to the first room upstairs but saw no body. She opened all the rooms until she got to a room but found it locked. She tries to unlock it but failed. the room suddenly opened on it as she saw Ryan himself standing in front of her. He looked so broken and lost.
Emily could not control herself as she hugged him tight, he didn't return her hug but just stand like a statue. She pulled back and touched his cheeks gently
"Are you battling with something you can tell anybody even me your friend?" She asked curiously bug got no response from him as he look behind her
"Okay you don't want to talk to me, I will go now but please take care of yourself. I just came to check up on you" She said sadly as was about leaving when she felt his breath on her neck as he wrap his hands around her from behind. Emily touched his hands in front of her and turned gently towards him to face him.
"Are you scared?.. Are you okay?" She asked
"Emily.." He shuttered slowly
"Yes Ryan, I'm here" She replied as he looked at her
"Come inside the room with me" He said and took her inside to sit beside his bed. The room was very dark, Ryan switched on the light as Emily took a deep breath of relief and looked at him
"I brought you inside because I want to talk to you, I want to tell you what have never told anyone.. I need you fill the space in my heart, cuz my heart so filled with pain and guilt. I need a miracle to get over this pain and have peace for once I my life Emily.. Am also scared that if I tell you, you will leave me empty especially now that I feel I can trust you. Pls don't leave me feeling so empty like others Emily.. I really don't know if you're my answered prayers or my miracle? but I just want to tell someone" He said sadly
"Go on Ryan.. am a human just like you and I can't promise that I won't react but I can listen" She said
"20 years ago, I lost my best friend in an uncompleted building and it broke me.. I didn't have any friends since I was born because nobody wants to talk to me because everyone hate me that I have what no one has, it was only my dad that treat me like his mate until I found you Emily and I was the happiest. I only wanted us to stay friends forever but that day that I could not found you and I search for you Emily but I didn't find you there. I lost you my best friend, my only friend and so I was broken. My mom arranged my travelling to get me away from everything. I had a friend in my new friend called Moses. He remembered me of you but I was jealous of him, he had what I don't have and so I killed him..." He said as Emily widen her eyes with her mouth opened
"You did what? you killed him? but you can never kill anyone Ryan, I know you and I can boast for that cuz you have pure heart" She said laughing loud
"Emily you don't know me, I am more wicked than you thought.. I abandoned you on that roof top and came back when I knew you will be weak" He said smiling wickedly
"That's a lie and you know that.. you can never hurt anyone and I am very sure" She said softly, Ryan suddenly came closer to her and hang her on the wall. He hold her neck tight as Emily struggle to breath hitting him to leave her but he refused before he finally leave her as she try to catch her breath
"You see I can kill and you believed it now?" He said
"No I don't believe you can kill anybody because you are Ryan, my Ryan, my saving Angel and I can stand in front of the almighty and defend you" Emily said, coughing loud
"But I almost killed you here and you still believed I can't kill you? really Emily? are you dumb?" He asked smiling wickedly at her but her words stopped him and he stared at her strangely.
