Sarah maintained a calm expression, not revealing any sign of shock upon hearing Jacob's words.
"I suppose you're wondering where I obtained this information, aren't you?" Jacob asked, a subtle smirk playing on his lips as he appeared proud of himself.
Sarah shook her head in response to his question. "I imagine it wouldn't be difficult for someone in your position to gather such information, sir," she calmly replied. She took a moment to observe Jacob's arrogant demeanour, and her mind wandered to Noah's contrasting appearance. Noah bore little resemblance to Jacob, but if they were placed side by side, no one would suspect they were related.
"So?" Jacob's impatience started to show in his tone as he awaited Sarah's response.
"Hmm…" Sarah took a brief pause after a long hum, collecting her thoughts before speaking again. "Well," she began, forming a weak smile, "I'm not quite sure why you're making me this offer, but it seems there has been a misunderstanding, sir."
