"I told you, it wasn't going to go the same way as…before." Ash winces, gritting his teeth to the fire singing his skin and hair, his fingers still clutching tightly around his trusty zippo lighter.
Collapsing to his knees Ash's breath becomes more erratic turning into shallow ragged gasps begging for air. His drawback started to form with an unrelenting force. He struggles to stand putting a hand on his knee stumbling over rolling onto the floor hyperventilation starting to take hold of him.
"Ash, Ash can you hear me?" Azure asks, moving close to him checking his eyes seeing his pupils dilating.
"Ash you need to breathe, you need to breathe Ash. Long slow breaths, exhale and empty your lungs." She instructs trying to keep his attention with the occasional snap of her fingers.
"There you go now inhale you got this." She continues, falling back into her medical training. Holding Ash up by his back guiding his breath, her voice enters his ears in a distorted garble of sound.
