"My godmother went on a trip, so I was with Grandpa horseback riding. I've had dinner, have you eaten?"
Bo Yanching shook his head, "Not yet."
"Then let me cook for you!"
Bo Yanching raised an eyebrow, looking at her both amused and pleading, "Let's forget it, I'll do it instead. What do you want to eat?"
He headed towards the kitchen, planning to check the fridge.
Nan Jiaojiao had to jog to catch up to him. It's only been a few days, and he's become a blend of human and twisty, dressed neatly with no trace of the bandages inside.
"I brought it back!"
Nan Jiaojiao waved the two large bags she was carrying at him and sneaked closer, saying, "I praised the food, and Grandpa had the kitchen make an extra portion for me; untouched, I brought it back."
Bo Yanching breathed a sigh of relief, "I was worried you'd actually cook."
The thought of her past antics immediately came to his mind, including those two bloody steaks.
