"Gao Zhe, what are you doing!"
Gao Zhe didn't say a word, nor did he look at her, his tongue fiercely pressing against the inside wall of his mouth.
The contours of his face, accentuated by the interplay of light and shadow, were shrouded in a profound darkness.
"I'm asking you a question, have you gone mute!" Lu Zhenzhen fumed.
Yet Gao Zhe still said nothing.
He usually drove with one hand, but this time he used both, and his blue veins were visible beneath the cuffs of his suit.
Even the silver watch strap couldn't hide the prominent wrist bones.
"Gao Zhe!"
"Shut up."
He finally decided to speak.
Lu Zhenzhen looked at him in shock, "What did you say?"
"Zhenzhen," Gao Zhe turned to look at her, "don't speak, otherwise I can't guarantee how well I can control my temper. You'd better not provoke me now."
His face was expressionless, but his slightly narrowed dark eyes and deep tone made one think of raging fury.
